[CPM-SPIRE-L] A postdoc position at Indiana University Indianapolis

The Department of BioHealth Informatics at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis has an open postdoctoral position. The anticipated start date for this position is December 1, 2020. This is an annual renewable appointment for up to four years subject to performance and funding.

The postdoc will work with Dr. Xiaowen Liu to design and implement software tools for mass spectrometry data analysis. Research areas will be focused on algorithm design, machine learning, and proteomics data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in computing, statistics, or bioinformatics, a strong background in data analytics, machine learning, and mathematical modeling, a strong interest in bioinformatics, and solid C++ programming skills for software development in Linux.
