[Apologies if you receive multiple copies of this announcement.]

The 12th edition of the StringMasters workshop on string algorithms
and related topics will take place on September 5-7, 2013 at the
Czech Technical University in Prague, see

	http://www.stringology.org/event/StringMasters2013

StringMasters was established with the aim of bringing together
researchers in string algorithms at all levels (senior, junior,
especially graduate students) to study current problems of particular
theoretical and practical interest. It is informal, with no scheduled
presentations, entirely devoted to new research resulting from the
interactions among the participants. Typically small impromptu groups
form, of about 2 to 5 researchers, who share a common interest in a
problem. Old collaborations are reinforced, and new collaborations are
formed.

StringMasters has taken place since 2007, once to three times per
year. Previous venues were Hamilton (Canada), Stellenbosch (South
Africa), Perth (Australia), London (UK), Rouen (France), Palermo
(Italy), and Verona (Italy).

Topics include Indexing, String Matching, String Combinatorics,
Algorithms and Data Structures for Stings, Bioinformatics,
Computational Genomics, Data Mining, Big Data, Internet Issues,
Natural Language Processing, Automata Theory, Network Security,
Musical Analysis, Lossless and Lossy Data Compression, and others
connected to algorithms on strings. Research output from these
meetings has in the past been published in special issues of
Fundamenta Informaticae and the Journal of Discrete Algorithms.

There are no conference fees.

All interested participants are welcome.

Please, register yourself for the event simply by sending me
an email including your name and affiliation.

The Summer StringMasters 2013 is following the Prague Stringology
Conference which will be held on September 2-4, 2013 in the same place.

We are looking forward to meet you here.
