The BONSAI research group (http://www.lifl.fr/BONSAI) working on design of bioinformatics algorithms and methods is seeking for a post-doctoral candidate at Lille, France.

The aim of the project is to develop and implement an original algorithm for de novo assembly inspired both from de novo sequencing problems and methods that have been developed for resequencing but using a set of closely related sequences to assist the assembly process.

Details and application form can be found at http://goo.gl/ayf27

The applicant should hold a PhD in computational biology or in bioinformatics, and have skills in discrete algorithms and programming.
