Dear CPM/SPIRE community,
In 2025, for the second time, the Symposium on Combinatorial Pattern
Matching (CPM) will issue the CPM Test-of-Time Award, recognizing
outstanding papers in algorithms research that were published in the CPM
proceedings at least 20 years ago and which are still influential and
stimulating for the field today.
The award committee is currently soliciting nominations for the award from
the community. Nominations of papers (possibly complemented with a brief
text in justification of the nomination) can be sent via email to the
members of the current award committee, listed below, by 31 March 2025.
(Please also note that the committee has a record of nominations from
previous years and these will naturally be taken into consideration for the
upcoming award.)
Inge Li Gørtz, Technical University of Denmark, inge at dtu.dk
Moshe Lewenstein, Bar-Ilan University, moshe at cs.biu.ac.il
Simon J. Puglisi, University of Helsinki, simon.puglisi at helsinki.fi
