[CPM-SPIRE-L] Postdoc Position (up to 3 years) in Bielefeld, Germany

Dear friends,

I am currently hiring a postdoc (PhD student is also possible, if no suitable postdoc applies) in the Genome Informatics group at Bielefeld University, Gertmany. The area of research is quite flexible, somewhere in algorithmic bioinformatics - between phylogeny, comparative genomics and pangenomics. Ideally the candidate can bring in some ideas of their own. Earliest starting point is October 1st 2023, the position is for 3 years. Officially German language is required (as the position includes undergrad teaching), but I am quite flexible in that respect.
