LOCATION

WCTA will take place in Lima, Perú. The workshop will be held the day after
SPIRE, in the Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC).

SCOPE
**********************************************

WCTA is a forum primarily for early-stage researchers to present their
work. Published, under-review or ongoing works on compression, string
processing, computational biology, and related topics are welcome. There
are no
published proceedings so the results presented can also be submitted to most
other workshops and conferences.

WCTA is sponsored by BIRDS MSCA RISE 2015 project. Thank you to the BIRDS
project, there are travel grants for students.

SUBMISSION

The submission procedure is by email. Please, submit the abstracts in PDF
format
to the WTCA co-chairs (jfuentess at dcc.uchile.cl, gawry at cs.uni.wroc.pl,
nicola.prezza at di.unipi.it)

To apply for the student travel grants, please, send an email to the WCTA
co-chairs.
