The Algorithms & Bioinformatics group at King's college invites well renowned researchers, doctoral and post-doctoral students to submit abstracts to present their work at the 26th London Stringology Days & London Algorithmic Workshop, sponsored by the Department of Informatics at King’s College London and the London Mathematical Society.

Aims:
The workshop aims to bring together researchers to discuss their latest developments and findings towards theoretical or applied aspects of discrete algorithms, including string algorithms, automata theory, combinatorics on words, Bioinformatics, graph and network algorithms and computational complexity.

AlgoUK:
King's College will also be hosting the first network workshop AlgoUK<http://algorithms.org.uk/>, from 6-7 February 2018, co-located with LSD & LAW 2018.

Venue:
LSD & LAW 2018 will take place in King’s College London, situated in the heart of London: River Room, Strand campus (Strand, London WC2R 2LS).

Scope:
Topics include, but are not limited to:

  *          Bioinformatics
  *          Graph and Network Algorithms
  *          Computational Complexity

Structure:
Each session of this two-day workshop will feature an invited talk, followed by oral presentations by researchers. Breaks will provide the opportunity to network; lunch will be hosted in a local restaurant.
