27th Annual Symposium on Combinatorial Pattern Matching
June 27-29, 2016, Tel Aviv, Israel

HIGHLIGHTS
---------------------
1. As of this CPM the CPM proceedings will be in LIPIcs of Dagstuhl - an
open access publisher.
2. A best-paper award in memory of Alberto Apostolico will be initiated at
CPM 2016.
3. Following CPM, on June 30th, there will be a special day of research in
honor of Amihood Amir’s 60th
birthday.
4. Of course, there will be a traditional tour and dinner. The conference
hotel is across the street from the beach and wonderful weather is
expected. Bikes are available for hotel guests.

SCOPE: Papers on original research unpublished else-
where in all areas related to combinatorial pattern
matching and its applications are sought, including, but not
limited to: bioinformatics and computational biology, coding
and data compression, combinatorics on words, information
retrieval, data mining, natural language processing, pattern
discovery and enumeration, string algorithms, string processing
in databases, and text searching.
The proceedings will be published in LIPIcs (Dagstuhl proceedings).
Selected papers will be invited to a special issue of Algorithmica. The
Alberto Apostolico best paper award will be awarded during the conference.
