[CPM-SPIRE-L] Fwd: Sad New about Alberto

Alberto was a one-of-a-kind researcher with a keen eye for important open
problems.  As we all know, it takes a village to raise a child.  Alberto's
generosity, willingness to help colleagues and encouragement of junior
researchers was key to making our community into that village. My heart is
with his family.  Alberto will be sorely missed.
