[CPM-SPIRE-L] Sad New about Alberto

Terrible news.  We lost a valued colleague and friend, a great researcher, 
a perfect gentleman, and (to echo Dan Gusfield) the ultimate Raconteur:  Alberto
could convey even the most mundane story in a wonderfully humorous and 
inspiring manner.  

Rest in Peace Alberto
